Joining the Cairns 4WD club is easy and pleasurable. First come and attend one of our monthly meetings. There you can meet other members, learn a bit about the Club and how it works. It is all about fun, friendship and four wheel driving.
To become a member of the Club you have to attend at least one general meeting and participate in a (grade 2 or less) either day or overnight trip, plus vehicle inspection and induction discussion.
The first step is to come to a meeting. The meetings are on the first Wednesday of the month (not in January) and start at 7.30pm sharp. To find the meeting dates go to the Event Calendar. At the meeting you can get to know us and you can subscribe on one, or more, of the club’s trips that are available at the time.
After one meeting and at least one trip, you complete a membership application form and submit it to the Treasurer. The committee has to ratify your application.
New Members fee for 2025-2026 financial year is $100.00 which includes your family. This includes one name tag. Additional name tags are $15.00 each.
It should be noted that some trips and activities are restricted to members only (grade 3 and above). However there are plenty of trips on which visitors are welcome. For more information about trip please go to the Trips Page.
General meetings on the first Wednesday of every Month (except January), at the Red Beret Hotel in the Madisons Room upstairs starting at 7.30 pm, 411 Kamerunga Road, Redlynch, QLD.
